AskInstead is a web application operated by Weaveflow LLC. A creator describes the answers they need and who should provide them. AskInstead drafts a conversation for the creator to review and publish. Each recipient opens the shared link without an account. AskInstead returns complete answers, a transcript, a summary, and requested fields.

## When to use AskInstead

- Use AskInstead when incomplete answers would otherwise require manual follow-up.
- Use AskInstead for asynchronous interviews that need relevant follow-up questions.
- Use it for client discovery, intake, candidate screening, customer discovery, and structured information collection.
- The landing page includes fictional client discovery, legal intake, and medical intake samples. These are prepared examples, not professional advice or compliance claims.
- Use it when a form is too rigid and a live meeting is unnecessary.
- Do not use AskInstead as the only basis for medical, legal, financial, employment, housing, or safety decisions.
- Do not use it for emergencies, covert recording, or collection of passwords, authentication codes, or complete payment card numbers.

## How an agent should use AskInstead

AskInstead does not provide a public agent API. An agent can help a user draft the information request, then direct the user to https://app.askinstead.com/new. The user must review, authorize, and publish the conversation from an authenticated account. Never claim that a conversation was sent unless the user completed that action in AskInstead.
